Stone Hoard

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Who we are

The Stone Hoard is the working trade name of a sole proprietorship operated by David Emery, based in Moca, Puerto Rico. This policy explains what information we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Information we collect

Email list signups: your email address and preferred language (English or Spanish), collected when you join our raven list to hear about upcoming live sales.

Order information: the shipping name and address, email, and any note you leave with an order, collected when you buy from the shop or check out during a live sale.

Live-sale claim signups: your social media handle and platform, full name, phone number (optional), and shipping address, collected when you register to claim items during our Instagram/TikTok lives.

Payment information: we never see or store your card number. All payments are processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor, and are subject to Stripe's own privacy practices. If you choose to save a card on file for instant live-sale claiming, that card is stored by Stripe — not by us — and only after you give explicit consent during claim-signup registration.

Why we use it

We use the information above to: fulfill and ship your orders; run and honor claims made during live sales, including charging a saved card at end-of-live settlement when you've consented to that; and send you the sale notifications and order updates you've asked for. We don't use your information for anything else.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make the shop work: Stripe (payment processing), USPS/Shippo (shipping labels and delivery), and Supabase and Vercel (the database and hosting that run this site). Each of these companies processes your data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.

How long we keep it

We keep order and claim records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute-handling purposes, and email-list entries until you unsubscribe. If you ask us to delete your information and we have no legal reason to keep it, we will.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time — just use the contact email in our site footer. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Stone Hoard is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Governing law & changes

This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law. We may update this policy as the shop grows; the date at the top shows the last revision.
